Who is Tsangaris Motorsport

Tsangaris Rally Team is a rally team that was formed in 2001 by Andreas Tsangaris in Cyprus. It was formed when Andreas began rally racing in the rough gravel stages of Cyprus with a Lada Samara Rally car. After gaining some experience, Tsangaris Motorsport stepped in the 4WD Forced Induction world, with a 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV RS. With the Evo IV, Tsangaris Motorsport participated in the Cypriot Rally Sprint Championship where Andreas Tsangaris finished the season as the 2004 Rally Sprint Vice-Champion.

In 2005, Andreas has then purchased a 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS of Group N4 homologation. This car with a RalliArt livery which was inspired by the Mitsubishi WRC team in 1994-1997, raced in countless Stage Rallies and Rally Sprints in Cyprus which resulted in a lot of success and recognition by the Rally community. Tsangaris Motorsport achieved the Group N4 Rally Sprint Championship three times, multiple top 10 position in Cypriot Rally and multiple rally stage wins.

Tsangaris Rally Team took the decision in 2008 to upgrade their legendary Evo VI with something more upto date. It was then that the team and Team Manager, Andreas, decided to purchase a new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GT from Japan with the purpose of building it in the Tsangaris-way, a winning Group N4 rally car. Through a period of two years of sacrifice and hard work, the Tsangaris EVO 9 was then ready to run fast through the Cypriot rally stages. With great success the car always finished top 10 and finished in podium position in all of the Rally events our team participated.

Since 2015, Tsangaris Motorsport and the Tsangaris EVO 9 relocated to Ontario, Canada, where they continue their passion in Rally Sport. It is the team's goal to participate in the Peterborough Mitsubishi Rallycross Championship and of course, Ontario Performance Rally Championship.
