Tsangaris Rally Team is a Canadian team based in Toronto, Ontario. We began racing in Cyprus in the early 2000s. We began with a Lada Samara 2WD.  The rising popularity of the 4WD speed and the anti-lag, we soon purchased a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV. It was not long enough until we moved into the Mitsibishi Lancer Evolution VI GT. This is the car that brought us lots of success. Behind the wheel was Andreas Tsangaris, where he won the Group N4 Rallysprint Championship multiple times. His exhilarating driving partnered with flat-out driving managed to always bring the show the fans wanted to see. 

In 2008, we purchased a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 GT from Japan with the whole purpose of building our own rally car the way we wanted it. The project took about a year and a half until it was completed. The car was built with quality without any short-cuts and built to compete with much faster cars of the Group A class. With this car we managed to win a great amount of events in the Cypriot Rallysprint Championship and score podium positions for the Cypriot Rally Championship events. 

In 2015, Tsangaris Rally Team officially moved to Canada. Along with the family, we also brought our beloved rally car. Since then we focused on the conversion of a Open Class fire-spitting monster. However, due to the lack of resources in North America, the process took a little while until it was completed. Since its transformation, the car focuses for the Ontario Rallycross Championship and Ontario Rally Sprint Championship. Out future goal, to partake in the Ontario Performance Rally Championship.
